Glycolic acid - The Glow Getter

Glycolic acid — you’ve probably seen it on the back of multiple skin-care cleansers, serums, and gels you have in your collection. We can’t seem to escape the ingredient, and there’s a good reason why, glycolic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) and works as a mild exfoliant. It’s a small molecule, and this is important because it helps it to penetrate deeper into the skin and work more effectively.
